Lead Pastor Paul Schindler

Paul Schindler is the Lead Pastor of Living Hope Church

Paul and Heather Schindler moved to Maryland from Colorado in 1995. Upon moving here, Paul put his degree in International business to work at the McGraw-Hill Companies. But even as his career took off, God began to take him into ministry. “Over the past few years, as I was pursuing a career, God was pursuing the pastor in me.” –Paul

Both Paul and Heather hold degrees from Oral Roberts University and Paul is currently working on a masters in Organization Leadership and a masters in Practical Theology at Regent University. Paul is a certified Christian Coach with Transformational Leadership Coaching and is the founding Senior Pastor of Living Hope Church.

In typical Church style, the Evangelical churches emphasize Jesus, the Orthodox churches emphasize God, and the Pentecostal churches emphasize the Holy Spirit. Over the years, Paul has developed an “Evan-Ortho-Costal” belief, which means that LHC emphasizes all three, the relationship with Jesus, the Holiness of God, and the continual work of the Holy Spirit in power today. Living Hope is a nondenominational church and places its accountability with various pastors of local churches that Paul and Heather are in relationship with.

Pastor Paul lives in Severn with his wife and two children.
